Academic structure

The design of the Master's in Organisational, Work and Human Resources Psychology takes into account both the EuropsyT training model for the European Diploma in Psychology as well as the Reference Model for Work Psychology teaching and the Organisations supported by ENOP (European Network of Work and Organisational Psychologists). This model is well aligned within the largest model of the European Diploma in Psychology and provides a useful framework within which to design an OWP Master’s.

In line with the ENOP model, the main areas studied in the Master’s are: Work Psychology, Organisational Psychology and HR Psychology. In each of these areas, the Master’s will focus on two different approaches to theoretical and practical knowledge: an “explicative” approach and an “interventional” approach. The “explicative” approach prepares the student to describe, evaluate, diagnose, explain and interpret the main psychosocial phenomena and processes in the workplace, organisations and HR. The “interventional” approach prepares the student to plan, implement, and evaluate the changes and intervention necessary to improve behaviour and psychosocial situations and processes in the workplace, organisations and HR. The practical and theoretical intervention knowledge also prepares the student to design new models, strategies, methodology and tools.

Below is a more detailed explanation of the knowledge, abilities and skills gained by students in this Master’s. Each activity included in this Master’s has been divided into 15 subjects which form a total of 114 ECTS credits, of which 90 must be obtained to achieve a qualification.
